Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College is a co-educational full boarding college, where students are funded by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) on a means tested basis.
It offers an A level education to preselected students looking to follow a career as technical or engineering Officers within the armed forces or the MOD civil service.

These are available to book online at www.dsfc.ac.uk/Book-an-Open-Day but students MUST be confident of achieving the college entry requirements before applying for an Open Day – see http://www.dsfc.ac.uk/Academic-Entry-Requirements-and-Eligibility – essentially need to be able in maths and physics. Applications for September 2018 Entry will open for the Royal Navy, Army and RAF on the 1stSeptember 2017. Defence Engineering and Science Group applications tend to open slightly later in the Autumn.
