PARIS 2018

The following is a write up on the Paris Trip JMHS students took in July;

The first day started early, with a bus and ferry ride across to France. When we arrived in Paris we walked to the Notre Dame and then across the River Seine to eat ice creams and explore. During the second day we visited a market to buy a very tasty lunch. Then we had a cruise down the river and enjoyed our lunch under the Eiffel Tower. After returning to the hostel for tea (which was as tasty as usual!), we then returned back to the Eiffel Tower, with the brave climbing up to see the beautiful views. On day three we took the coach to Montmartre. We experienced some excitement when the bus got stuck in the smaller streets. However, we are sure that the classes rendition of Wannabe by the Spice Girls really helped the bus driver get out of that sticky situation! We also visited the stunning L’Opéra and finally visited the Champs- Elysées for some well-earned shopping. Then back to the hostel, for cards and getting to know other visitors at the hostel. On the final day we stayed in Paris in the morning. Thank you to the McDonald’s team for helping all of us get lunch! We returned back to England in the afternoon. We thank our bus driver (Big Jase), for his constant witty commentary (!), and Matt, for providing us with an entertaining soundtrack, and Miss’ beautiful singing throughout the trip!
