Y11 Boys Football Results

Our Year 11 team played football against John Kyrle High School on 1st March. It was wonderful to see 15 boys still fully committed to school sport whilst in the midst of the pressure of forthcoming exams. The game was played in a wonderful spirit, with our opponents dominating possession and chances, and they took a two goal lead into half time. It was much the same in the second half with John Kyrle adding two further goals. However, the tenacity of JMHS students was impressive, and they continued to battle and press for a goal and put pressure on their opponents. There were excellent performances from our students, including Cam Moss on goal who demonstrated cat-like reflexes to produce a string of saves, and Dan Dawe whose mercurial left foot and sublime finish into the top corner meant the score ended 1-4. Well done to those who took part.
