  • Vision, Ethos and Values

Our aim is to enable everyone to learn and to thrive by:
    1. Ensuring there is excellent and enjoyable learning for all.
    2. Supporting each individual to achieve their personal best.
    3. Building a sustainable community where we all support each other.

We achieve this aim by consistently asking a simple but powerful question: what is best for children?   This moral purpose underpins our ethos and values and ensures that we are forever alive to the responsibility and privilege of serving our children, families and community.

Our staff are therefore also learners, embodying the high value we attach to betterment.  They are highly committed to improving their own practice, to sharing and collaborating, and to growing stronger together, so that our children benefit from provision that is forever improving.

Our culture is suffused with high ambition for our children, and we are unwavering in our determination to hold them to the highest standards.  We know young people thrive only when the adults in their community truly believe in their potential.

We also know that to truly thrive, young people need more than academic success.  They need to be confident, kind, and to have a well-rounded character.  They need to be part of a community that is bigger than they are: a community with an ethos of care, that supports them and in which they can support other people.   That is why our staff work tirelessly to provide a range of experiences and opportunities, and to ensure that children feel supported in all that they do.
