A new Debate Club is now open for students in Years 9 to Sixth Form. The club is run by Katherine Allsopp, for people passionate about politics and for those who want a wider political and social awareness of the 21st Century. Whilst learning about current issues students are also developing their debating skills and hope to go on to debate against other schools in the future. Previous debate topics include: should the voting age be lowered and which human rights are the most important? Our next topics include immigration, abortion rights and gun laws. Any students interested in debating should come along to HU3 on Tuesday lunch times.
