9 Sixth Form students visited Cambridge University, staying overnight in Christ’s College as part of a HE+ initiative to help students compete for places at top universities.
After a talk from the Admissions Officer, there were guided tours of Cambridge and some college on the first afternoon. The morning of the second day was spent attending lectures and getting a feel for University study. To conclude the visit there was then some free time to explore the city before returning home.
Students learnt a great deal about the University and what would be expected from them finding the experience informative and enjoyable.
