John Masefield Sixth Form offers a wide range of activities and leadership opportunities aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles, enjoyment and positive citizenship. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and offer an extensive enrichment programme, which includes: British Sign Language course, competitive and recreational sports, Performing Arts, including our very own Sixth Form production, Art and Design workshops and STEM discussions and debates.
Additionally, in the spring term of Year 12, students are able to apply to join our student leadership group which is a vast team led by our head students and supported by a range of roles such as sports captain, charity lead and subject ambassadors.
In line with our diverse curriculum offer, students also have the opportunity to attend several trips linked to curriculum areas such as: Berlin, Paris, CERN (Nuclear Research facility in Switzerland), Auschwitz in Poland, London, Bath and many more.
