Spanish trip to Barcelona

Year 9 and 10 Spanish student are visiting Barcelona.

The itinerary for our trip will include the the Els Encants Flea Market, Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, Parc Gűell, Magic Fountains in Montjuic, Port Vell and Maremagnum . Once we have transferred from the airport, we will travel around the city on foot or by metro, immersing ourselves in Spanish life. We will visit local markets and students will have a chance to buy local produce if they wish. We will, of course be on the look out for Gaudí’s influence on the city’s architecture and will make a visit to Casa Milà. We feel sure that students will develop a better understanding of Spanish culture and language and return home feeling more confident and motivated in their learning.
