Y7 and Y8 were treated to a fantastic author talk from Ben Davis author of The Private Blog of Joe Cowley series this World Book Day.
Reading from some of his books and talking about finding his inspiration for writing had the students in stitches!
Ben also held a writing workshop for a small group of Y7 students in the Library and we saw some fantastic writing and ideas produced from the student under his guidance.
Students also took part in creating book bog roll characters for our whole school competition and we had some wonderfully creative entries. Well done to everyone who took part.
