On Wednesday 19th July, 17 local and national employers, training providers, colleges and universities attended the JMHS Speed Networking Event. Every student in school came out of lessons for one hour and had the chance to meet with these providers asking them questions about what they offer and what it is like to work in their fields. Feedback from the students was that the event was eye-opening and helped them to start figuring out their own pathways post-16. The visitors were also impressed with the questions asked by many of our students, in particular our Year 7 cohort who really gave them a grilling! We look forward to continuing to work with as many employers in the future and expanding our events for an even greater range of information for our students.
