Thirteen of our students did us very proud at the opening event for the Ledbury Poetry Festival on Friday evening. They recited their own work confidently and beautifully. One of the professional poets performing at the same event, when talking about our students’ performances, said that ‘The future of poetry is in good hands.’

The students were absolutely amazing and an absolute credit to the school. They certainly made an impression on the established poets! It was a wonderful event and a great end to this years project with our poet-in-residence Brenda Read-Brown.
