Our Sixth Form netball team qualified at the county tournament in October to represent Herefordshire in the regional schools tournament, an amazing third time for John Masefield students.
The girls have had a great season in preparation for the regionals, winning many games against local Sixth Forms and colleges, showing strength and depth in the squad.
The regional tournament was held at Bromsgrove School, Worcestershire on a cold, rainy Sunday at the end of January. All age groups are held on the same day so it was amazing to see so many young girls and women playing netball from approximately 45 schools across the region. And a great triumph that JM6 was a part of it!
The girls played an outstanding level of netball and their true grit and determination showed through in some pretty nasty weather conditions. The girls ended up with two wins, and three losses, a fantastic result!
An excellent achievement for JM6 and all students involved – Well Done!
