ALevel & Vocational Courses
Students will be able to choose A-levels or Vocational subjects to study at JM6 from the list below. Subjects have different entry requirements to study them at A-level. In October you will indicate the subjects that you are interested in and sample lessons at our Sixth Form Taster Day. More information can be found by clicking each subject.

Students at JM6 can choose to study a Maths Studies (Core Maths) qualification. This is a Level 3 course worth half an A-level for students who are not taking A-Level Mathematics and the course focuses on using mathematics to solve meaningful and relevant problems.
GCSE Resits
It is compulsory for any student who did not attain a minimum of Grade 4 in English and/or Maths in Y11 to resit these courses in Y12. Lessons will be timetabled to facilitate this.
