We were thrilled to be able to take Y11 students to see the RSC’s production of Macbeth on Tuesday 29th September.
This was an amazing opportunity for students to see their GCSE set text brought to life by the esteemed theatre company and everyone thoroughly enjoyed watching this powerful performance. We hope that this will prove to be enormously beneficial in their understanding of the play ready for next year’s exams.
Students behaved wonderfully all day and were a credit to the school. Huge thanks to the English Department for organising this trip and making the day run so smoothly. One of the staff members on the trip also knew someone who works in the prop department for the RSC so they were able to share some amazing behind the scenes photos of the props used in the production which we have shared below.
