Duke of Edinburgh Award

DofE Bronze is run as part of the Year 11 PE curriculum and is an option for all students in Year 11 taking core PE. Information regarding the award will go out to Year 10 students just after May half term. Students are then registered as part of DofE and they will attend one session a week of DofE and one PE lesson. During the DofE sessions expedition skills are learned in preparation for the practise and qualifying expeditions. The other sections are completed in students own time with school support where necessary.

There is also an opportunity to complete the Silver award in the Sixth Form.
