Work Experience

All students are supported in securing at least 3 days of work experience in the spring term of year 12.

Students are guided and supported to find work experience that supports future career intentions and/or develops work ethos and soft skills required of the modern workplace. We are so grateful to the dozens of local employers who are so enthusiastic to provide placements. Thank you!

In March 2024 fifty-one year 12s attended 3 days’ work experience mainly in the local area of Ledbury, Malvern and Hereford. The students were given responsibility for securing their placements which ranged from hospital departments, accountancy firms, software design and manufacturing, charities, business consultancy, sports therapy and coaching, schools and much more. All have produced follow up reports on the Unifrog system with many commenting that the placements provided clear insight as to whether they would aim to pursue a similar path following university, college or apprenticeships on leaving school.

We are really very grateful to all the local employers for facilitating such useful placements and look forward to working with them again next year.
