He is one of 16 young UK competitors across all motorsport disciplines selected for MotorsportUKs’ prestigious academy programme. MotorsportUK is the sport’s Governing body in this country. Robert was selected on merit based on his performances and approach in rallies over the past two seasons since he started in the Junior 1000 Rally championship. This programme will provide coaching and mentoring support over the coming seasons to help him develop his career in the sport. You can find out more about the programme here: here https://www.motorsportuk.org/2019-Motorsport-UK-Academy-drivers-selected

Another former pupil Josh Martin who drives a Mini in racing series has also been selected for the academy, so this is a real success for JMHS with 2 of the 16 young people selected being past pupils!

Well done to Robert and Josh, we are very proud of them here at JMHS and wish them all the best with their new adventure!
