Six of our Year 11 students recently took part in an accounting competition run by the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Representing JMHS our team consisted of Amy Hill, Sammy Thompson, Lucie Lancett, Alana Henderson, Jenny Kennedy and Roma Farnell, who each won a prize and the team trophy. The judges commented that team presented very confidently and came up with some good SWOT analysis points and considerations for the proposals. The ICAEW commented that they were impressed with how our team linked the proposal they chose back to their SWOT analysis right from the very beginning of the presentation, so it was clear how they were addressing current weaknesses in the future.
