JMHS Chamber Choir to Perform at National SSAT Schools Conference

jmhs-choir-ssatThe JMHS Chamber Choir has been invited to perform live at this year’s National SSAT Schools Conference, which will be held in Birmingham in December. Students submitted their application, a performance of Adiemus by Karl Jenkins on video, and were up against an outstanding field of very strong contenders. The students were delighted to be told that they were successful and are thrilled and honoured to be chosen.

Performing Arts goes from strength to strength at JMHS and this achievement is the latest in a line of honours such as winning the Elgar Music award two years in a row, and the choir winning Senior Choir of the year at Herefordshire Performing Arts Festival.

This is testament to the hard work and passion the students have shown. They are a talented group, aged 11 to 18, who are extremely supportive of one another and have continued to develop their individual and collective talents. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and for this recognition.
