Congratulations to Y10 student Joe Witt who was recently awarded the Young Male Sports Personality of the Year Award in the Malvern Hills District Community Sports Awards 2018. The event was held at the The Bank House Hotel in Bransford on the 12th July.
Joe is a keen sportsman who takes part in mountain biking; climbing (he has competed at National level in Scotland for the Gloucester based ‘Warehouse Climbing Team’) and gymnastics (City of Worcester Gymnastics Club). He has taken to gymnastics with great success, and has impressed his coach with his determination, hard work and mature attitude, so much so that he has been invited to start coaching himself.
Joe also received his sports colours at JMHS last week for the great contribution he makes to sporting life in the school.
Everyone at JMHS is enormously proud of Joe and his fantastic achievements and we look forward to seeing how his sporting career develops.
