Jackie Denman, the founder and main motivator behind the Herefordshire Big Apple festivals has been awarded a gold medal for a lifetime contribution to the cider industry by the Royal Bath and West Show.
Mrs Denman, who started the Big Apple in Putley, near Ledbury, in 1989, received her award from Bath and West chief executive, Rupert Cox on the first day of the show.
Mrs Denman was Chair for the JMHS Governors in the late 1990’s and we would like to send her our congratulations on the receipt of this great accolade.
