Year 9 Student to Represent GB at World Windsurfing Championship

Year 9 student, James Bulson, recently competed at the European Windsurfing Championships at Sopot, Poland. James achieved his aim of getting into the Gold Fleet and after 6 days of solid racing was pleased to get 36th out of around 84 competitors. At the National Championships at Rutland Water he came second and was very proud to be presented his trophy by Briony Shaw who represented Great Britain at the Rio Olympics. James spent the whole summer windsurfing, either at training camps or in competitions around the country and his second place was due to a massive amount of hard work! As a result of his efforts he has been chosen to represent Great Britain at the Windsurfing World Championships in Lake Garda this month. Well done James!
